Do 10 jobs a year No pressure to attend every week Tea and Biscuits break Everyone Welcome Lockerley Silver Band is based in the village of Lockerley in Hampshire, has been in existence since 1880. The age range of current band members span a very wide gulf indeed, from pre-teens to over 65's!!!. The weekly rehearsal is regarded as a social evening as well as a chance to practice the wide range of music we perform. We always have a break for a cup of tea, biscuit and a chat with other members in the middle of the session. We were very fortunate to have completed a major refurbishment of our practice room. We now enjoy pleasant surroundings, modern toilet and kitchen facilities and very efficient heating in the winter months. Our Bandmaster, Richard Taylor, is well known and highly respected composer and his experience gives us an edge over many other local bands. Just come along on a friday at 8pm.
